My first attempt at Heli's, and my first attempt at panning as I was aware I wanted to try and keep a bit of motion in the blades, Living in the middle of Salisbury plain, I really should try this more often, C+C very much welcome :)

Good start, & nice colors in #3.
It looks like you had more that one pass to shoot them, so I might have tried a slower shutter speed on the second pass.

I only had a couple of passes, there were about 30 mins between each time they passed, I was lowering the shutter speed, this was the lowest I got to try, but the light was falling quickly at the end, Im off out later to try again, with lower ss if i can :)

You live in a good spot for helicopters :)
