I could just be a gasket slightly out of place, or something. If it is still under warranty, you have nothing to lose by calling the service department.

I didn't do anything. I have about 4 or 5000 shots through it and it's fine. I do think it's just the interface. How are he rubber grips both front and rear? See my peeling poll...
