Are you glad to see me or is that a "Sony DSC-QX100 Smartphone Attachable Lens" in your pocket?

lol! Funny you should say this... Every time I see something like this my first thought is always "how sealed will this be against pocket lint", just because it seems like carrying something in your pocket is the best way to get it chock full of dust and lint :( I guess they probably thought about all that, but I'll be interested in seeing how it works.

Simply attach the compact and lightweight DSC-QX100 to turn your Smartphone into a professional grade camera to capture beautiful DSLR-like 20MP still photos.

This is really going to hurt 1Dx sales apparently. :p:D

Kudos to Sony for seeing a HUGE opportunity and grabbing it. Why not. How many among us don't carry either a Droid or an iphone? I shoot a bit of Nex and the Zeiss glass is nice.

From what I can tell it looks wireless, so attaching it to the phone is just a way to hold the lens. Am I correct in this, the lens does all the work with the control wifeless from the phone. I told my wife about it and she was very excited (she loves using her phone for pictures).
