I am content. My gear is capable of more that I am at this point.

Oddly enough, I'm more content now that I've sold my 70-200 Mk II and 1.4x extender. They just sat in my camera bag, rarely getting used.

I'm not even close to being content. For my next lens I'd like to get a Canon 400mm, and there's a lot of other stuff I'd like too. :)

I just got a new lens last week and when I opened it a few days ago, my wife actually asked me if there was anything else I wanted to get. Since then, the only thing I have been able to think of is a new body. I'm still hoping for a high resolution body from Canon. Once I get that, I'll probably be happy (unless they come up with something new that I didn't know I wanted of course).

I'm relatively happy with my lenses and body; what I'm building now is a lighting set up. I have the desire to push myself and learn. Lighting is the way forward for me.

I am pretty content now, but still have the feeling that i need something.

I guess when i have a good macro and a tele there is nothing more to add as the rest of my gear fills my needs very well.

A nice camera bag or a better tripod would be nice too :D

I am content with my gear. I just don't shoot things that move fast or which are in low light.

I'm content and haven't bought a lens since 2007 and bought my last camera (5Dc) a few years ago.
I am impressed by my son's 5DIII, but don't feel any need to get one.

It's also not a lens. He said no lenses since 2007. Frankly Canon hasnt really released much since then that has interested me: 70-200/2.8 II, 24-70 II, 35/2 IS and 100L is about it and the first two are really pushing my limit of what I concider justifiable for a hobbyist.

I haven't bought a "lens since 2007" (I have sold some since then).
