I had an Emmick cart years ago with a McCollugh chain saw motor on it. They sure have come a long way. They are a lot of fun. Sure not as cheap as they used to be. Great pictures Thanks

Figured it made sense to post some of my work here. I recognize several of the drivers in this thread. I've been the staff/series photographer for the SuperKarts! USA Pro Kart Challenge in California for the past 7 years and for the past 2, the series photographer for the Redline, now Sanzaru Games Karting Champion series that runs at Sonoma Raceway.

Wow---beautiful shots!! Back in the late 60's early 70's I ran a Chapparal Kart with 2 McColluch 91 motors--class was B stock. Short track stuff. Sprint racing. Ran mostly at a track in Ma. Lashaway Kart track--long gone. Used to make the trip to a track on Long Island a couple times. Got to run Riverside Park once for a special event and Stafford Motor Speedway once or twice for special events.
