Finally. Well I want to start by thanking everyone who helped me out in my last post. I took everyone's advice and actually had a few pics turn out fairly nice. These were taken from my back yard, on a 600d, with a EF-S 18-55mm lens at 800 ISO with a 20 second shutter. They were shot in RAW and edited very little in PS. They didn't turn out half bad. RAW is truly the secret in my opinion. Below are a few from Monday night.

Nice, I'm not sure for the first two images but the last one, you've got Vega and the constellation Lyra at the center.

Nice, makes me think of my childhood. When I lived in Texas I had no problem seeing the stars....and lots of them! Makes me miss country life. Thanks for sharing, the heavens are a beautiful subject.
