Very good shots

Thanks. I was trying something new on these shots. Usually the dark colored coots against the dark water is a hard exposure for the camera. I have my camera set up to focus with the AE Lock button, and the shutter release button set up for AE Lock when depressed half way. I locked the exposure by pointing the camera to another location away from the water and then recomposed on the coot and focused and snapped the shot. Came out much better.

Gear List

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.
