Hi everyone,

I just updated my website with some new sections and added the ability to order prints through fotomoto.

I would appreciate the guru's here offering critique of the site and such if you would be so kind. :D

Here are my suggestions/comments:

1) Your home page is actually www.Arcsylver.com/flowers (external link), which is kind of weird.
2) There's no way to navigate through your gallery besides clicking on the picture and it takes you forward. I can't go back if I want to. I suggest adding navigation arrows or thumbnails. (make it similar to your prints section)
3) I feel like the landscape photos in the galleries should extend full width.
4) The Arcsylver Imaging and Arcsylver Audo tabs seem pointless.
5) The About Arcsylver needs more information. You probably haven't updated it yet.
6) No clue what the Morbacon Theater tab is for.
7) The gray on black text is a little light. You might want to choose a brighter gray color to bring it out more. The completely black background started to look a little too plain also.

Hope this helps!

1.Sadly the template defaults to the first gallery page so not much I can do to change which page loads initially.

2. Again, template doesnt allow me to easily add direction arrows. I instead re enabled auto slideshow on it, I had disabled it previously.

3. Not sure why that wasnt working properly to be honest. Apparently the gallery got switched to not fill more of the page there for some reason. Fixed now.

4. Those two tabs are for specific showcasing of projects currently being worked on for the most part. ( Just updated the Audio section to make it a bit more understandable what the point of this section is.)

5. Yes, About Arcsylver is still in progress. Havent updated it yet.

6. The MorBacon tab is specifically for a client I recently did work for so they can easily find and purchase prints from the rehearsals of the performances they do. Proceeds are being donated to the theater company since it is a non profit.

7. I brightened the text a bit more. As for the solid black background, I was looking for more of a basic simplistic look so that images stand out more on the pages. It does make the text heavy pages pretty boring though I agree.

1. I think you need to create a new page for your home page and have only a couple of photos as your primary portfolio and link that page to www.arcsylver.com (external link).

3. The full width photos are MUCH better now! =D

7. Text looks better.

I created a smaller gallery titled Main as my main page now.

The problem with the full width pictures is that it auto crops portrait orientation photos weird and chops off part of the top and bottom of the image. That was why I had it set to fit mode instead of fill on the gallery setting for that style of page. So it is either non full width pictures that look great for landscape with badly auto cropped portraits or everything set to fit the screen which looks ok but leaves dead space around the images without horrible crops.
