my first hdr with google

just tried googles free hdr and i like it,not much on the editing side but pretty impressed on the layout and ease of thier photo hosting.whats your thoughts?

nice one. Never heard about an HDR Program from Google though

looks nice, the colors are saturated but then every hdr needs little bit tweaking in
photoshop or lightroom, so these can be corrected. but it is not possible to judge
performance from this one hdr as the dynamic range of scene is not too wide.
For this particular scene you can get better result using digital blending in
photoshop.

ya u just upload your sequence of 3 bracketed shots and it auto merges them,u dont have much control but there is some editing features also,pretty impressed for a feeby program built into the browser

You must be referring to some sort of an Android app.

I would say, bring the saturation down a bit or at least the green saturation.

no its not an app u sign in to your google account and go to more then photos and then u will be asked to upload some pics,it will auto find bracketed pics and make an hdr from them,theres also tons of edits on there,pretty cool all for free

I would be interested in knowing what their terms of service says about this. Knowing google, and knowing the way trends are going with just about everybody / everything else, I would not be surprised to discover they get to use your photos for whatever they want "all for free".

Did you read the terms of service before you started uploading your pictures to somebody's server?

hmmm good question,your prob right,ill have to back and read it,i just tried a few to see how thier hdr worked,i didnt and wouldnt load any personal pics of my kids n such to any online software,i have a samsung google chromebook and alot of it is web based which i dont like much,i installed a version of linux on it so i dont need the web to edit pics now
