More from this mornings awesome fun, found 2 different types of ladybugs in the garden.

Very nice JD. The light is very nicely diffused and you've got some lovely compositions.

They do look a tad dark though. Perhaps a little exposure / shadows lifting?

I agree with a little dark, they didn't look this dark before i uploaded them. I did as much shadow lifting as i could in PP without bringing up too much noise, i shot these at F/13 at ISO 400 with a 1/250 SS, kinda lost track of my settings in my excitement :oops:

I agree, the light is soft and diffused but more juice is needed on the flash :)

Thank you, i actually need to modify the diffuser a hair more before i crank it up higher, though i just re-checked my settings and its only a 1/4 power...oops :oops:, i'll crank it up for tomorrows shoot an see what happens :D

So i re-did pic 2. Brightened and manually adjusted white balance. Not sure if it's better or not :confused:
