Nononono... You mis-understand the concept. If you're going to start a rumor you MUST use a date!! Be specific.

Well, my guessed-at date for the YN-622C-TX has passed. I think that they have a problem that is not easily fixed, and could harm its marketability.

So near, yet...

It's so frustrating.

Really wanted it for this coming wedding season.

How difficult can it be though? Hasn't all the hard work already done with the 622c transceiver? It's just a batter user interface over the top, isn't it? I could do without the fancy timing adjust, if it meant I didn't have to wait a year for it.

If waiting a few more months means we'll get a better overall product, more power to Yongnuo.

Yes, it's frustrating for us, and the design engineer, I imagine.

The C-TX does provide a good interface, although in some situations, a photog may still choose to use the camera menus. And there are many who will appreciate the timing adjustment feature. That was settled down with the Nikon version.

The problem I think is something which was ok. and somehow has come unstuck with subsequent development. If it required only a software fix, it probably would have been done by now. Re-designing and manufacturing a PCB is another matter, if that is what they are doing.

"At least before the YN600EX-RT" - that is, "...before October 2014".

The release date of YN-622C-TX is still not confirm yet. But it is getting close, at least earlier than YN600EX-RT. The YN600EX-RT will be estimate released in ABOUT October, 2014 if in smooth progress

They have edited that - there was no date in the original post, but there was a date for YN600EX-RT in another post. The date is now spongified!

As are all of us waiting, debit card in hand, and mouse hovering over the BUY NOW button (which hasn't appeared yet either!)

Nice... let us know how it is. I'll order once y'all have tried them out. Or when my trigger finger gets itchy. Yeah... I'll probably let y'all know how they are.

I know I'm late to this party. But does the TX version play with the regular YN 622?
