Dark, overcast day but an opportunity to get to Ridgefield NWR can't be passed up because of the weather.

They have become one of my favorite birds. Haven't seen a lot of them this year and this one was a complete surprise. I felt very fortunate to find him and then again when I saw the fish he had.
