RAW files processing.....show us your creativity!!!

Hi all,

I would like to share you and give you a RAW file that i am working on and would like to see how can you correct it and how can you get HDR from it, i don't know how to upload big files here so i used one files hosts site for that and hope you can get it out of it

Already exists on the forums.
HDR is easy from a RAW. Much better with a bracketed shot, but still doable with a single RAW.
Use lightroom to export the image with bracketed exposure changes. Use a program like Photomatix to create an HDR.
Alternatively you can use photoshop or programs like Nik- HDR Effex Pro (which you can get a free 15 day trial of)

Sorry just re-read and saw you are wanting people to edit it and explain what they have done. My bad.

Yes, i want others to edit it, i am not god much in editing and i really want what are people editing so i know which areas i should focus for processing/editing, the other thread is members posting themselves editing of their own photos, here i offer my photo to be edited, and here it can end up with many tries to edit instead of only one edited by the member himself/herself on the other one you posted.

It is not a must, but it can be a fun, and i want to learn from people PP so i can improve mine too and also to see to how far my photos can go, there are many here much better than me in editing.

Yes i know, but i gave up because all the time i clean it up and i go shoot again i see dusts again and again.

Thanks for your post, i did something very similar with mono color too, nice!

3 different conversions with DPP using different picture styles and different white balance and then blending with DPP++ plugin.

Nice, that looks interesting, thank you very much!

two processing once for highlights (sky) and once for foreground (stones) . in the
photoshop used masking to get the highlight of the picture processed for highlights
and shadows of the one processed for shadows. little bit of level adjustment and little
bit of increasing the saturation.

It is really nice, i liked the sky here than the other two previous, but i feel you added noise to it.

Your work on post #6 was better than those two, why you did something different, in fact i will be happy with what you did before, and you can enhance that one rather than doing something different again.

yes but I thought that the first one doesn't look very natural as the sky color doesn't match the water color...

Its ok, no need to match the color, sometimes natural look is not all what we want, but i understand your point.

Ok, here is my final work, and it is HDR, and i wasn't thinking to make this shot just natural, i liked it this way more than make it natural, but what do you think, i should re-do it to make it natural?

Quick 5 min edit in lightroom.. Didn't want to spend much time on it coz my perspective might change on it.. I chose cold colours because that's what I got from it.. It looks harsh and it's not an interesting shot composition wise.. and you really need to clean your sensor.. it's atrocious!
