The black lowepro Flipside bags are more expensive than the blue ones...
Is it more subtle or why ?

I went with the Flipside blue/black 300 and green/black on the 400AW, my thought the less they look like photo bags and more like a regular back pack the better. -- Eric --

For some reason nobody seems to make them like that. @Simon_Gardner | Since 27 Nov 1987 | Tripod fetishist - moi?

For some reason nobody seems to make them like that. I did used to have an aluminium [FD] lens box years ago I painted 18% grey. Very useful it was too. I have two camera bags that are between 12-18% grey. Of course they are both over 35 years old and a bit dirty but does show that they did make 18% grey camera bags once upon a time. All my other old camera bags are brown, didn’t start seeing black as the standard bag color until the mid 1990’s. Remember, Stressed spelled backward is Desserts.

I've also asked Pelican why they don't make that colour case. I got no answer. (So I use these collapsible ones instead.) ![]() Well, being married to calicajun, I refuse to carry around his very old, very dirty and very large camera bag. Just not my style! Lynn

Very much easier and these are waterproof and washable. Twist collapsed into it's bag it goes in a large pocket. @Simon_Gardner | Since 27 Nov 1987 | Tripod fetishist - moi?

I use them to take periodic shots to use to get the colour temperature right in post processing [LIghtRoom]. Nobody has ever laughed at me for doing it yet even when doing bird photography.
