Ah, Bic razors have done for shaving what Bic pens have done for classical writing....:D

Like the story and really like the last image. I have an old pocket watch and holder I think I shall try a similar shot with.

As for shaving, I have many items from Taylor's and have previously used the Sandalwood Soap (now use Crabtree and Evelyn Sandalwood). I have a real badger hair brush which is frowned upon but does whip a good lather. Hold on ......... am I talking about Gentlemen's Grooming ... stop it. This is a photography forum !!!!

Thanks. I'm looking forward to seeing your shots of the pocketwatch.

Thanks. I think you'd like the weight of a double edge razor...

...and while I don't think I'll be trying a straight razor to shave with anytime soon, even a Bic razor will be better if you try using a brush and shaving soap. Here's a starter set that I first bought at Walgreens: Van Der Hagen Premium Shave Set (Soap, Bowl, Brush) (external link)

That's why I use an electric shaver and a keyboard... :)

Love the composition in the second one! Interesting photo that tells a story - good exposure and depth of field. I do a fair bit of that sort of object shooting and Know how hard it can be to get it right - especially hand held.

Thanks, I appreciate the comments. I enjoy shooting images using a group of objects that tell a story.

Well, as I mentioned earlier, I created a video demonstrating how this Kriss Kross stropper works. As soon as you start watching, you'll understand why I stick to taking photographs instead of shooting video.

At least you'll see how this mechanical contraption works and works well I think.
