Has anyone had issues with the Luma Cinch Ver 1 scratching their camera and/or lenses? I have noticed it scratches things like lens hoods easily and I am concerned about the camera body and my lenses (while stored in a bag).

Dont really want to try and see if it does scratch it.... lol. Have any of you experienced this?

I believe mine put a mark on my 35/1.4, so I've since started storing the strap tucked away behind a divider. I don't really mind though, I like the metal hardware.

-_-..... I may have to look into a different strap. I don't have a lot of options when using my messenger bag. :(

I haven't noticed it, but I have wondered about the metal. The hardware on mine doesn't have any sharp edges...but metal is metal.

I have always been SUPER careful with it.... but after seeing that it has scratched my lens hoods.... I am scared that one day I will notice a scratch on the body.... :( I love the strap... but I dont want to risk any damage because of it. Is the version 2 any different in this aspect or is it still metal?

There's no metal in Ver 2 other than the quick connect threaded rings.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

So are the new pull tabs made of plastic?
