If it's a USA model, provided you're in the USA, it should be ok.

jinwho81,

Do a search in this forum on Big Value and you'll better understand the situation and the potential risks you face. I would type it out, but I'm tired of typing the same thing week after week.

I odered 5D III from this dealer about 3 month ago, a little higher price
Received on time, in the box w/everything new, (minus 24-105), shutter count = 0, still happy
At B&H to day is 3499.00, for 900.00 less , authorized dealer or not do not bother me that much. When we require service "authorized dealer" not a "Magic"

I bought from bigvalue recently on two transactions and all went well re: quick ship, warranty card, good unit etc. One item was a 5dm3.
All depends if you are open to some risk (minor in my eyes) from the savings of green.

I also bought from them.

Item came in a kit box, 3 day arrival. 6D was brand new, complete with accesories and a blank warranty card. Happy and satisfied buyer here.

Considering the going rate for used is more than this, its a great deal. I've purchased 2 bodies from Big Value Inc before and both times I've been satisfied.

The deal came back... I miseed it about 2 month ago and bought a used one. I would have bought it from bigV no problem... good deal, wouldn't hesitate to buy from them based on the feedback on this forum.

I haven't read complaints from their recent 5D, 6D, and 24-105 sales. They must be cleaning up their act.

Just a few weeks ago, Big Value sent someone a 5D MIII with a counterfeited serial number. A few weeks prior to that, someone received a 5D MIII with obvious dirt on it and a fingerprint on the sensor. A few months ago, several people received a 5D MIII with missing parts such as the battery, charger, and eye-piece. Many asked for refunds, but had to eventually go to their credit card companies to get their money back.

They aren't even close to cleaning up their act.
