So i finally landed some paying clients from my shop for the Senior Pictures. This picture is of a client ..give me your comments...good or bad. thanks! I used Natural light..50mm lens..The first picture is when she showed up...lol. The second picture was a finished product using an mgi photo program. thanks

She looks much better in the the second shot and that's not because she's in her underwear.

I don't know why, but i can't help feeling her head looks like it doesnt belong to her body, it might be not being able to see her neck. I'd have rested her chin on her hand, as it looks like she's paranoid of showing a double chin (even if she hasn't got one, but you know how girls are).

I don't know what good composition is.... Sometimes for me composition has to do with a certain brightness or a certain coming to restness and other times it has to do with funny mistakes. There's a kind of rightness and wrongness and sometimes I like rightness and sometimes I like wrongness. Diane Arbus

Love the second shot. The first looks forced.
Amended. She is gorgeous.

This girl is not a senior...lol...shes is 19 and in college. I was just giving an example of a terrible snap shot...with all the acne and all...Then what i did with her an hour later...in the real photos i took..meaning pic two. The first pic was not to be critiqued...it was just a comparison...of the before and after.

I know what you're saying peachman. I think the lens must have had one of those Beer filters on...lol

I'm stunned it's the same girl

that first pic just goes to show how terrible a candid pic could be..heres another pic showing her with a "normal" chin..lol..The only thing i would have done different is have her lose the black band on her wrist..I really didnt prepare to much for these pics...i just used them to sell myself to get the other work. But just the same..i value peoples comments..It makes me think harder on future shots. I need all the help i can get!!

Does not mean that we're right though, it's just our opinion and i for one have never shot a girl i never knew in that situation so my advice is hardly expert, just opinion. Lets put it this way, she looks ten times better in both shots then she does in the first.

Her skin looks much better, and to be fair you shot from under her in the first shot meaning she had to look down, and that would give wacko jacko a double chin and he's a 100lbs

I think you're right about the band, and i'd have lost the rings

I'm not too sure if there the same or not. But can you add a dimple to a chin and change the smile lines on a face. These are great, what a difference. Can you show us the befores of #'s 2 & 3?

Well, she has on the same neckless as in the snap....you are either the master of unflattering snaps or king of the make over ...these are really well executed shots and she is a sweet looking lady....how did you get rid of the second (double)chin?
