I'm curious as to what you mean by this, or what you think I should do exactly, and I mean this. I know very little about photo shop and don't spend more than a minute on each photo. The extent of my photo shop knowledge is coping, cloning, sharpening, and adjusting the color/contrast. That's about it. Feel free to take a crack at them (i'd like you to) and tell me what you did. I would love to learn.

I disagree. I don't think every photo needs to be processed to the moon and back. These are family photos, not magazine ads.
I think the photos are great. They take the viewer to that time and capture the playfulness of the children.
Good exposure, good focus and the composition draws your eyes to the main subject. It makes me think of being at a cookout on a summer's night. Well done.
Thank you for your compliments! As I said, I really don't know much at all about photoshop despite shooting for several years now. I try to get as much right in the camera as possible doing the things I bolded, and don't spend more than a minute on each photo doing some of the things I mentioned above.. To each their own I guess
