navydoc Cream of the Crop More info | Jul 14, 2017 08:38 | #2366 I didn't think there was enough sky or water to add interest to the image so I decided to crop in to show the rolling hills and house near the center of the frame. The use of a telephoto lens would have been useful here. Edit other than crop is basic white balance and tonal adjustment using both the Adobe Camera Raw editor and Photoshop. I also used Nik's Color Efex Pro 4 plugin to improve contrast and color using the Pro Contrast filter. I also used Topaz Simplify to boost colors as well. This spot is only five miles away from where home is so I've got no excuse not to go shoot again there.
