Thanks for trying Doc. Stick around, it was an easy to make mistake for a newcomer to the thread.:-)
My "busy" week is about over so I'll post something shortly.

Bears courtesy of our good friends at Google!!
Adjustments, 3 layers (cause I couldn't work out how to get the bears in nicely), contrast, dodge, burn etc. All in PS.

And another, similar concepts but used SilverEfex Pro for finishing.

Sorry I'm a couple of days late, it's a busy time of year for me. I'm going to pick Butts' Goldilocks edit for first place and BITR's beautiful B&W edit for a close second. Congrats and take it away Butts!

Okie dokie.

You know the rules. Edit the following image and post it up here. No holds barred, as long as something remains recognizable of the original image.
Make sure you explain what you did or be disqualified from winning. Post as many edits as you like. In about a week I'll choose a winner and a runner-up. Great fortune and celebrity will be bestowed upon the winner. Okay, no fortune and only the accolades of fellow forum members. But the winner does get to post a photo (must be a SooC raw image, shared via Dropbox, Google Drive or some such) for the next round.

This week's image is an out-take from an engagement shoot:

I took two different routes aiming for the same end goal.

First was in LR>PS using Luminosity Masks to get my desired effect.

Second was taking the photo in Aurora 2018 and using a couple layers to control the amounts of the effects and mask out parts.
The A2018 jpg export seems to muddied the image a bit.

2. SNS-HDR, then PP in Photoshop. Levels adjustment, slight colour adjustment with Camera Raw, then Topaz Detail filter. Crop and resize.

This is a tough photo. He is really orange. Not just orange, but only orange. Trying to desat the orange in his skin, even a minuscule amount has him become gray.

DXO 8.8 for perspective correction. Desat orange slightly, raise shadows, reduce highlights and contrast.
