Some great entries, but I'm going to have to say that I like this one the best. The addition of the background works well, and the colours between the background and subject match too.

Honorable mention to Itsallart. You did a great job with the FS, but the colours seem a little lacking to me.

Great work all around. RRBlint, your turn to post a picture!

RawTherapee with a 77% "Kodak Porta 160 VC 1-" simulation and a bunch of processing to fit its gamut.

Yes, thanks for reminding me Tiberius.:-)

I liked all three edits very much. Benitoite, you've got the handle on the straight, no-nonsense, very clean-looking edits. It looks exactly like the scene did. Great job. Tiberius, I love the old-time tin-type that you provided. It really goes with the scene.

In a different contest, either one these great edits would easily be the winner.

As a purely personal choice, I particularly like Mozes' stormy sunset look and I chose this one. In fact Mozes, if you don't mind, I'm going to try to duplicate that look for my own processing, with proper credit given of course.

So, Mozes you're next.

Mark
