I'm more or less happy with this shot, but I welcome any suggestions for improvement.
I'm using flashes on the left and right pointed down from about 6 feet.

I like how you lit the shot and the backlight is good on it too. I think it's a decent shot. Did you get some more poses? That's the only thing I'm not crazy about.

My wife was visibly exhausted yesterday afternoon. ..and you can clearly see this in the other shots. :)

The light and color look pretty good, and it does look quite sharp.

The head turned so far looks unnatural. I would suggest turning her shoulders a bit.

I like your lighting. Great fill. But as others said the pose and additionally the hair and purse strap are distracting.

I know how it is shooting the wife. Mine never wants to be fashionable because she'd rather be confortable. But clothing can make or break a portrait. And this is why I never have any good pics of my wife :-)
