iPhone 5s - New camera

So today Apple officially announced their new 5s phone, and it comes with a camera everyone loves (to hate :lol with the following new features:

15% bigger sensor.
f/2.2 aperture and new lens.
33% better light sensitivity overall.
10fps continuous shooting.
Image stabilization.
AF is twice as fast.
DSLR-like matrix metering.
Two flash heads with different hues, which can automatically balance for 1000 different lighting conditions, regardless of light source.
Automatic detection of sharpness, which finds the sharpest shot in a burst, as well as the one where everyone in a group shot aren't blinking.
Built-in HDR.

Discuss.

Any word if the Olloclip system for the 4s I have will fit this new phone?

Looks like a good camera, the flash is a good step up. I'm sure images taken with one will start appearing very soon. I attended a photo show displaying photos taken with phones, most were done using an IPhone. It was impressive what people are doing with these things.

Samsung, Sony, HTC, LG (and pretty much everybody else) are selling phones with 5 - 6 inch screens. Big screens are great for surfing, photos, gaming, e.t.c.

Why is Apple the only company who refuses to up their screen? They won't get my money until they do.

Is "yawn" sufficient discussion?

iphone 5S really looks promising. Specially with upgrades with camera thing.

I agree. I hate to say it, but after all these years I might be going to Android or even Windows if I decide on the Nokia 1020 (for the camera of course), but I'm really not getting Apple these days. At this point why not offer a 4" and 5" model of the iphone (I'm sure cost/production) has alot to do with it, but come on.) As I get a little older (I'm sure there are others) I want a bigger phone for several reasons. I also use it as a GPS device (Google Maps) and 4" too small. Finally no black iphone 5S

I disagree about the screen. Something I like about the iPhone is its smaller size. If I want a big screen I'll buy a tablet. It's just the right size to fit in a pocket but big enough to function and I believe that that is part of Apples' marketing plan.

Yeah, I really don't get all the screen size *****, this this is supposed to be a phone, and one that's supposed to be usable with just one hand, just like every cellphone made in the last 10 years.

I've seen/used a 6" phone recently, and it's quite ridiculous, the thing wouldn't fit in my jean pocket and I couldn't reach the top-left corner of the screen with my thumb. It seems as though we are on a backwards curve towards larger cellphones again, in 20 years time we'll be talking over ghetto blasters.

I personally like that Apple isn't making stuff bigger for the sake "lol more!", even they admitted to keeping 8 megapixels because "larger pixels make for a better image", which means that there is an actual photographer working at Apple, and not just marketers.

Personally, things like 10fps shooting that automatically culls the best shots is a pretty big deal, this thing is reaching the performance of some DSLRs. Shame it still doesn't shoot Raw.

I hate to say it, but from user reports on other forums, the lens of the Nokia 1020 is actually worse then the older 808, so any additions they may have made are countered by woefully soft corners.

If you want a phone explicitly for it's great camera, the 808 is still a viable option, even though the OS is basically dead and the phone tech is 5 years old.

iPad and the iPad mini are tablets, and too big to be used as phones. I want a phablet, in other words a phone with a 5 inch screen. There is a reason to why the phablet-phones are such huge sellers, they are the perfect combination between phone and tablet. Not too small and not too big.

All the big screen phablets from Samsung and HTC fits perfectly in my pockets. No problem at all.

Funniest thing I've heard in a while.

In any case, I don't doubt the maybe Apple will make a bigger phone in the future (in addition, not replace), but seeing as this is the iPhone 5s and not 6, you should have figured that it's going to be more of an update than a major redesign.
