I was in the market for a new walk around sling to carry my T3i and 70-200 instead of the standard Canon neck strap. I was pointed to the Rapid Strap, but I am a cheap turd and was not willing to part ways with $60. So I was doing some digging and found the EZPhoto Rapid Carry strap that had most of the same features as the aforementioned RS.
For $21 shipped, I got a pretty darn good carry strap. I was concerned that the length would be too short as I am 6 feet tall. But after using the strap for walks on the bike trail the last couple of days, it is adjustable to meet my needs. It has strap locks to keep the swivel from traveling too far one way or the other down the strap length.
The swivel itself is a little cheap feeling and I can see it being replaced in the future.
But it have the padded shoulder piece with a tether that goes under and connects via plastic pinch clips under the arm. It stays in place and easily slides to shooting position from the hip.
For cheapo's like me that are looking for something similar to the RS, I think this will work out just fine.
