When is the last time that had 20% off?

I think the last 20% sale was December of last year (2012).

Since then there has been 15% off sales in March and May, and the same stepped discount as what is pending (up to $100 off product priced over $500), which ran in April and June.

I'm hoping the 600EX comes back in stock. It was in stock last week and went back out of stock in 2 days. I wasn't ready to make the purchase. I will be now. :)

hmmm so a 6D would be 1499...having the 20% would be a huge discount, this deal would work awesome if you're buying stuff that costs 500 or so...

I agree....I am getting 70-200mm F4L non IS 567.XX -100 = 467.XX. I traded this lens to 1dmkII and would like to own again.

So the sale starts after midnight today? Thanks

But its either Or type deal, right?

AFAIK, canon doesn't give sale price & clp discount together.

Am I wrong?

The 6D is not available as a CLP yet, so only the 100 dollars will apply, if it was 15% off instead, you'd get 230 off the price, which is awesome. Either way both are good deals, but as someone mention, buying lenses around 600 bucks and getting 100 bucks off makes a lot more dent in the discount, i'm thinking of getting that tele lens too

Strange, no sale prices listed on Canon's website regarding this sale.

Did anyone receive an email from Canon advertising this sale? I usually get all their emails and so far I've not received info from them on this sale.

From the first post in this thread:

Asterisk wrote in post #16290946 (external link)
According to CPW: http://www.canonpricewatch.com …n-50-off-250-100-off-500/ (external link)

"The Canon Direct Store is starting a refurbished sale this weekend. Unfortunately it’s not as good as previous percentage-off sales, but they’ll be featuring $50 off a refurbished purchase of $250, and $100 off a refurbished purchase of $500. This should apply to all refurbished bodies, lenses, and speedlites.

There are some great deals to be had:

EF-S 10-22mm will be $419.99 (currently $519.99)
EF-S 17-55mm IS will be $603.99 (currently $703.99)
EF 70-200mm f/4L will be $467.99 (currently $567.99)
EF 50mm f/1.4 USM will be $269.99 (currently $319.99)
EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II will be $1739.20 (currently $1839.20)
Speedlite 600EX-RT will be $389.99 (currently $439.99, and already sold out)"

These things typically start on midnight Saturday night (e.g. Sunday morning).

Ok I have to ask. Are you really asking again if the clp and sale discounts can be combined on the 6d? because like people on this thread and the other one that the 6d is not part of the clp, and that the clp does not ever combine with any other promotions. Sorry I am not trying to be rude but it seem's like you keep asking the same questions every few days. If I misread your post I apologize in advance.

Not asking, simply confirming what I have read thus far on CLP & Sale Price.
