Fotodiox extension tube stuck on camera

I am FREAKING out! Today I bought a cheap Fotodiox macro extension tube set and, or course, immediately connected it to my camera and 100mm macro lens. I read that people have had trouble getting it off the lens, but not me....I can't get the camera mount tube off the camera - and I DID NOT tighten it very much...I'm just hoping someone has a suggestion about how to get it off the camera!!!

Attaching the tube to the camera and lens was easy and surprisingly quick. However, ever removing it from the camera body was a challenge until I figured out that you have to push up the little pin while unscrewing the thing. I wish there was some sort of written instructions with it in the box. But once you figure that out its a breeze and an absolute pleasure using.

thank you so much (for the welcome and the response!) Unfortunately, the pin is on the mounting ring to the lens, there is no pin on the camera mount.

Try putting the mounting ring back on and see if it makes a difference.

Sadly, I tried that without luck. I don't know if I should try to break it out - but I'm afraid that I'll damage something inside the camera. UGH! What a mess.

Try pressing the lens release button all the way in on the camera body while slightly turning the tube as if installing, then back in the other direction again to remove the tube. The release pin on the camera may have gotten stuck on the extension tube if the button was not fully depressed the first time you tried to remove it.

Soooooo, what finally happened? I'm close to buying a set! Likely will go with Kenko in a few months though.
