I've had this lens for quite a while. I have never been happy with it's pictures. They always seemed fuzzy.I was looking at pictures on it's dedicated page in the picture sample sub form and they look so much better than mine.

Dissatisfied, I put the lens away. My Canon 55-250mm died so I broke out the Sigma to give her another go because I needed the reach. What I discovered is that the auto focus is slightly off with this lens. If I manual focus to the sharpest that I can get it and take a picture, it looks great. Quite sharp as a matter of fact. I tried it repeatedly....setting my picture manually, flip over to AF and it adjusts off focus. Explains a lot.

My camera is a T2i

Anything that I can do? Manual focus is not always feasible.

i don't think there's anything you can really do about it with your body...you don't have micro-focus adjust...you could send it in i guess...but the costs involved with that, you'd be better off picking up a second hand 55-250IS for $150 or so
