I currently carry 2 speedlights and a set of triggers, along with everything else, in my ThinkTank Streetwalker HD backpack. I take that and a light stand bag w/ umbrelllas when I shoot on location. When I need more than that, I have a ginormous lighting case that I'll take with me that holds my Flashpoint strobes, their battery packs, cables, etc. It's a pain in the ass.

I'm going to be downsizing, replacing the Flashpoints with Cheetah CL-180's. So even though I'll no longer need my huge lighting case, I'll still need a lighting bag for the Cheetah gear.

So I'm curious, anyone that uses bare bulb style flashes like the Cheetah's, Quantums, etc. that are larger than speedlights and require external batteries, what do you carry them in? I've been thinking along the lines of the ThinkTank Airport series or perhaps Pelican 15xx series. Thoughts?

Save yourself some money. I use the Think Tank for my photo equipment. For my lighting, I use this bag from adorama - http://www.adorama.com/GBCGY.html (external link) Yup! $25. I have my 2 ad360s, battery packs, and lots other stuff too.
