It's been a few years since I shot football last, but it looks like it's going to be a regular thing for me again. Also the first time I shot football with the 7D, already realized some major adjustments needed to be made in how I'm running the AF. Already learned that while the 1.4x TC has no problem being sharp for birds with this lens, the white uniforms had horrid CA. Also tried using the 70-200 as my 2nd camera lens around the 2nd and 3rd quarters, but that proved too tight, so the rest of the game I kept to the 16-35, think that was maybe too wide for anything of much use action wise (great for crowd shots), will probably be starting with the 50 on the 2nd body tomorrow.
C&C Welcome. Had to delay in posting these, so as not to conflict with (beat) publication dates of a special football issue.

I shoot for ISU, so it was just a one time visit, but I tried to choose the better football form photos from the day, and brushing off the rust, I made a point to shoot both teams for much of the game, to get back into the swing of football.
