Shot with an IR converted 20D (my new toy) and 50mm. Usually I have something in mind when I post in C&C, I don't this time. Just want to see what you all think if the image and processing. It is not B&W, and it is not selective coloring. Thanks!

If steroids are illegal for athletes, should PS be illegal for models?

IR is fun. I sometimes use an orange filter and that lets in some interesting colors. Which filter were you using? This one seems a little hot on the hood though. Is this a crop?

The camera was converted by LifePixel with the 720nm filter. The only cropping I did was a little tiny bit off the left edge.

Just wondering: why shoot a car in IR? As a demonstration of a technique I can't offer any pointers. However, it doesn't look like anything is in focus. The shallow depth of field makes it worse. Lastly, the busy bright background on the right indicates that it might have been a good idea to find another locale.

Yep the front end is disappearing into the background, also you only just make out its a convertible.
Would reshoot, with a cleaner background/more dof/and showing its a convertible.

I shot with the IR only because I had just gotten the camera that day. :)

As for locale, this is a burger joint that has a 'carshow' on Friday nights. My choice of background was what you see, or a busy road.
