I've come across all types of interesting things looking for videos on Hypersync.

Love the part about outdoor shooting.

This makes more sense however there have been a lot of conversations about brackets here.

OMG-- that diffuser video is such BS. Lets see.. lets point a flash directly at someone and blow out the shot, then point it up ( like its supposed to be) and show them a non blown out photo. I realize they are marketing this crap to people that dont know any better but come on captain obvious.

I took a lighting course at my local mom and pop photo store. It has been around forever and one of the best things I ever did. They did not promote any products during the course, all technical but did answer questions. They know they can make money on it but will not stock the dome. They don't support how it is advertised. I have never looked but my bet there aren't any GF products there. I like these guys.

In all fairness to Gary Fong. The dome has its place as far as lighting modifiers go. He has just over hyped it to death. It spreads light all over the place. Sometimes you need that.
He pissed me off big time a couple of years ago. The guy has a smart mouth that wont quit and he can a total A$$ to people when he wants to be. So, for that reason, and not his product. I would never use or recommend him to anyone.
