Like many events this summer we had a lot of heavy cloud cover but by the time these guys performed the sun was finally starting to brighten things up.

Thanks Frank. Looks like they'll be performing today under an overcast sky with a slight chance of rain right around the time they do their thing.

Great series on 'the yellow peril' Larry - they did put on a good show !!
Definetly was cool with all that cloud cover - still going through my shots from Saturday.
Looks like you were somewhere along the fence, as my shots are almost identical (...without the prop blur !! LOL).
Got any more ??

Randy, Gear - 3 in the green, and a T5i with a few lenses !

Excellent series, the Harvard team is always a joy to watch, saw them at another show last month. The clouds starting to clear, it was almost like mother nature knew they were about to perform.

Was there as well (grass area next to the tents, seemed like the perfect spot), still going through shots to.

Randy, no prop blur! What's up with that? I was about 10 meters or so from the very edge to the west so I could shoot the take offs rather than the landings. It was just about the same place as last year & I recognized a few of the same people from last year too. I got the crossover too but it was so far to my right & through a lot of smoke so it's not a great shot.

I've finished editing my jpg's but later on I'll rework some of the RAW stuff & make some large prints for the local Legion. Last year I made up some in time for Remembrance Day & I intend to do it again this year.
