do not do video but wanted to try the 7D out and see what it could do for future vacations and so on. It plays good on the TV through the camera but want to use it for youtube and share with family on the web. But have discoverd I need to convert the video.Maybe even burn a DVD or two

So my question is, does anybody know of a good one to use (free version) to convert from MOV to mpeg? For Windows XP

Please don't say "Do a Search" as it pops up tons of info you have to go to this page or that and get nowhere quick. Then when you do find one and download, you also get the attached virus. No thanks. It is better to ask from experienced members and get sound advice

I'd have a look at a video editor, as you may wish to eit your footage to make a better video, for a freeby have a look at Serif Movie Plus, I use X5 and it is a great program, I understand the freeby is based on this version, X6 is the current one but I haven't found the need to upgrade yet.
