Buono Estente,
Unfortunately there was only one stage near Madrid this year, and it was the final run through the streets, but I still wanted to go and support the race and the riders. Took my girlfriend and she really enjoyed watching the breakaway, counting their advantage for ourselves as it grew and then inevitably (but disappointingly as someone who still gets excited by breakaways) shrank ... I also took the camera but we adopted a shaded position a little way from the finish (closer was either closed access or in direct sun for two hours and we weren't there to suffer with the riders) so I didn't get much.
If nothing else, perhaps my post has become more to others tastes ...
A few attempts at anticipatory atmosphere ...

Vuelta a España - Madrid
The final sprint wasn't quite kicking off as it passed me, unfortunately ... anyway, an enjoyable time spectating it.
