Post 'em up boys and girls! It was a great year with a lot of great racing, performing and entertaining. Lets see what you captured.

Nice start, I was there Tue-Sat and have about 4500 pics to go through. Sifting through to find the best. Love your shot of the Thunder Mustangs. Brant Seghetti was flying Miss Picabo (second from left in your shot).

Here's one (non-racer). Will post a few more when I downsize them.

Man, that's a lot of Thunder Mustangs! I'll definitely be following this thread as I didn't get to go this year :(

I spend too much on flying to have much equipment worth listing!

Dave, not sure how to tell what the crop % is, but here's the original image. Shot with the 1DMKIII 27-200 with 2xTCMKIII at 400mm, 1/100

QUOTED IMAGE

That's actually a CAP 232 (my favorite aerobatic plane) not an Extra. But a GREAT shot!

It isn't hitting the plane. It is hitting the hills behind the plane. You'd see plenty of "fire" under the wings if they had been hit.

Thanks for the correction and nice comment (fixed my previous post). I was surprised I got a decent panning/prop blur at 1/320. Had camera set up for different shot when they came down the runway.
Boy, the RARA guys didn't update their iPhone app or website with current/correct info at all this year. Disappointing for the 50th anniversary.

Thank you very much. I have a lot more of PM too, still working on them. You have some nice shots from Sunday. I left Saturday evening between the storms. First one rolled in and got a little rain, second I watched from a few miles away with all the lightning. Would have been wild to shoot in that.
