Just brought a new 6d.. Love it.

Am curious about the wifi.. Is it possible to have an ipad, and the photos you take on the 6d can be directly sent to a app in the wifi and create a slideshow?

I do a lot of events and think this would a big benefit, that is if its possible? If it is, could any1 recommend an app that would allow me to do this?

Lucas

It is possible.. it is even possible to find raw editors for the iPad.
I don't use of this way though. It's far more useful to use the iPad as a big live view screen while shooting landscape. This is a fantastic reason to have wifi in a camera.

A Live view screen might be good.. I basically just want to have an ipad sitting on a table at a event/wedding and as I take a shot, it pops up on the ipad so people can see it.... I would then like it to go and display previous photos i.e. basic slide show

That's basically what the Canon app allows you to do. Browse through your SD cards raw files. It will work to show clients a quick preview on the job.
Setting up a slide show app however could be done with Apple's own iPad iPhoto which will be able to read raw files and do basic edits, and then create a slide show. But I'd just wait until you can get home with Lightroom...
