Adobe just released the final version of Lightroom 5.2 and Adobe Camera Raw 8.2. Note that ACR 8.2 is compatible with both Photoshop CC and Photoshop CS6.

These updates include several bug fixes and add add support for 16 new cameras, including the Canon EOS 70D, Fujifilm X-M1, and Sony RX100 II, along with new lens profiles.

There are no links yet to download Adobe Camera Raw directly. Adobe prefers users to use the Adobe Application Manager or the Update feature in Adobe Bridge or Photoshop to install the update since its easy to screw up the installation if you're running both 32- and 64-bit versions of Photoshop and Bridge. If I find direct links to ACR 8.2 I'll post them later.

Download:

  • Lightroom 5.2: Mac (external link) | PC (external link)

  • DNG Converter 8.2: Mac (external link) | PC (external link)
To install Adobe Camera Raw 8.2, use the update mechanisms in Photoshop CS6 or CC.

The full list of new cameras supported by these versions is as follows:
  • Canon EOS 70D

  • Canon PowerShot G16

  • Canon PowerShot S120 (preliminary)

  • Casio Exilim EX-ZR800

  • Fujifilm FinePix HS22EXR

  • Fujifilm FinePix HS35EXR

  • Fujifilm FinePix S205EXR

  • Fujifilm X-M1

  • Leica C (Typ 112)

  • Olympus E-M1 (preliminary)

  • Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX7

  • Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ70

  • Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ72

  • Pentax Q7

  • Pentax K-50

  • Pentax K-500

  • Sony DSC-RX100 II

  • Sony A3000 (ILCE-3000)
  • Sony NEX-5T

The posted links were shortened so they aren't working correctly.

The proper links are:

I don't know anything about the CC, but what happens if you open Bridge then go to "Help/Updates"?

Nothing, no updates available. Can anyone confirm CS6 ACR update available and clarify which links to use?

I just checked and it looks like the DNG converter is out for ACR 8.2 but the ACR plug-in doesn't show up...?

If you open your Adobe Application Manager, it should be there.

I updated to ACR8.2 thru Bridge/Help/Update which opened up the Application Manager. I kept getting server busy, but eventually it updated.

The first 24 hours the download sites are always packed. I'll have wait until next week because I'm traveling, presently in San Francisco airport.

Ha. I installed the RC version yesterday.

RC means Release Candidate, in other words Beta versions..RC is not the final release versions.
