I wish I had more time to shoot there; such an amazing place. Here are a few shots from Colter Bay, Oxbow Bend, Swabacher's Landing, Snake River Overlook....pretty much the go-to spots. I had some good luck with the clouds, but you can see on some shots I just had to work with what I had.

Great series indeed, you had better luck with light than I did last week. First afternoon was pretty decent, but by evening of my first day the deck had lowered a lot. I'll agree with the 'wish I had more time' statement - it's already on my 'must go back with more time and patience' list.

Thanks guys. I'm moderately happy with them, but as always they could be better. I was jealous of one photographer I met out there (one of the guys I walked with down to Schwabacher's Landing) from Dallas, who was in the Tetons for a week or two by himself just driving around shooting. Some of his shots are amazing.

Wonderful shots. On the lake shore one I would PS the guy and boat out.

I cloned out a very bright family on the left already, but I kind of like the boat, and even though I told him to stay behind me when I was shooting, my son couldn't resist throwing rocks in the lake. If I were to print this for anyone though I would have to give him the digital boot.

Thanks for the input.

Very beautiful series. I miss the Rockies sometimes. We only have reverse/negative mountains here in Florida (sink holes). I've adapted by shooting things other than mountain scenes. ;)

Still, your photographs remind me of the beauty of the Western US. Thank you for sharing them with us.
