Hi,

I just received my Satori EXP and XL ICU and I must say I am somewhat disappointed. I already have a Kenti and Loka, but I needed something bigger and given that the Satori EXP is listed to have almost 70% more volume than the Loka 62 vs 37L I thought it would be a ton bigger. Not! A tad more space in the front, and some more on top, but that's about it... Have no idea where they got the 25L extra of volume figure!

And cutting to the point: so, I am most disappointed with the XL ICU as it appears that the top section cannot be accessed when stuffed into the pack. Pushing the ICU down and aligning the fasteners there is about 2-3" of ICU left unexposed from the rear access. Why did fstop not mention that even though the ICU technically can fit into the Satori the top is cut off???

Or............... did I put this thing together wrong? Anyone else have a Satori + XL that can comment on the fit of the two?

I am hoping I am just brain dead and didn't put the ICU in right. :)

I googled for this for 2 hours, and I could not find a single picture of the Satori with the XL ICU fitted inside. Please help!

I've had the Satori EXP, but not the Loka. It isn't as big as it looks in the pictures, but I was able to stuff enough in there to live for a few days out of it!

If you aren't happy with the XL, I suggest returning it, F-stop have a great return policy.

No, I used a medium with mine because I had the rest of the bag stuffed full of non-camera things, can't help you there I'm afraid.

My medium does have a similar "problem" in the Guru though, some parts of the top are covered up, but I can still access them with relative ease.

Just a thought, but perhaps you can organize it so that some larger items fit at the top, with a twist. I have a Loka with a large and medium so I haven't experienced it first hand.
