Just saw this flying from flower to flower and moving like a hummingbird. Can anyone identify what it is?

It snout was bent and long.

A surprising number of moth species behave in a "hummingbird" fashion. Especially the larger species like the sphinx family (which is known for hovering).

Thanks for the help - I have never seen anything like this before. I have watched many hummingbirds in action and this really fooled me.
