Anyone here know Word Press? I am getting ready to totally redo my website and I'm looking to move to it. I'm also looking for a theme that allows PW protected galleries and ordering of prints. Just needs to take their order and collect the money - I want to use my own print houses depending on whether it's a canvas, print, or metal. Also, it must be mobile device friendly - resizing of photos, dynamic pages on iPhone, iPads, Android devices, etc.

Any help, pointers, tips, recommendations, or things to watch out for are welcome!

Thanks
James

I'm using Wordpress on all of my websites (I maintain 7 sites). I'm using a child theme from ThemeHybrid.com. It isn't a photography theme, but I customized it to my tastes. I'm pretty sure you can use PW on any WP themes, I've just never needed that. For e-Commerce, I just posted some info here: https://photography-on-the.net …p?p=16309813#post16309813

I like it, but I don't like the fact it doesn't scale for mobile devices.

Designs that scale for various browsers are referred to as "responsive"

You can test this with themes, by simply reducing the size of the browser window and seeing how the theme reacts. If it changes as you make it smaller (e.g. tablet sized and phone sized) and scales for those devices it's a responsive design.
