We have mushrooms growing everywhere this fall. Summer was very dry, but once it started raining, it made up for lost time. When I'm out mowing, I see mushrooms everywhere. Wish I knew what ones were safe to eat, I'd pick them instead of mowing them.

I mow over them. Mushrooms are among my least favorite food to eat.

They're good in a mushroom sauce on a nice peice of steak, otherwise I would have to agree with you.

Brussel sprouts ughh

I like mushrooms well enough, but it depends on how they're prepared. Raw is great. In soup, on pizza, in spaghetti sauce, etc is all good. Stuffed mushroom caps are icky. I don't really like the texture they take on when they're cooked. So if they're going to be cooked, they need to be small and blend in with everything else.
I do love a good mushroom mozza burger.

I really dislike mushrooms and they dislike me. If I eat a small amount mixed in with something I get upset stomach and likely to vomit but if I eat larger amounts I will go to the hospital, die, or worse.

When I was a kid I disliked mushrooms. Funny, I also disliked avocado even though I grew up where we had avocado trees galore -- the property had I believe been part of an operation owned by Mr. Haas of the Haas Avocado renown.

Funny, when I became an adult, I got to like both the 'shrooms and avocados. I still don't like onions or hot peppers. though...

I too disliked mushrooms as a kid and avocados. I think the mushroom thing was that I had never had a decently prepared mushroom. Those little button ones in a jar was about as exotic as we got and those things were nasty.

I've grown to like mushrooms pretty much anyway if done right and the right mushroom but still cant handle avocados.

lol, not really. I promise that's the only room with it. I was ready for a comment about all the lego, but you caught me off guard with the IKEA one. Thank's for keeping me on my toes :p

Besides how do you know it's IKEA ?

I'm talented I guess. Either that or I once had the same chairs and footstool, they are a very popular range of their products.

I could linger on in the hospital for years on life support being a burden to my friends and family.

Yea, I'm putting that in the preferable to death category.

I'm happy to report that the canal is still there.

No, Chet... not the birth canal.

Although both are very humid.

I found the womb quite comfortable. In fact when I was being delivered - the doctor took a quick look and tried pushing me back in, insisting I was not quite done yet...

Never forgave the doctor. Although she did not dissagree with him either...

Traci, if that comes up, let us know and we can have a Portland POTN Meet-Up at the hostpital! Of course, it would have to happen before you die, that way we can all be there snapping away for your last moments/breaths! :)
