I knew you loved your work, truth is the authorities are forcing you to retire, ain't that so?

Well, it was a better option than "termination for cause".

In Australia we don't kill people when they do something wrong at work. Serious stuff!

Pity. It has a dramatic effect on worker productivity. Except the dead ones, of course; they don't do much.

This reminds me of something from years ago.

They just don't make quality songs like that anymore. Too many people would be "offended" for some reason.

Right? I miss Dr. Demento sometimes.

Adjusted, just in case.

Pushing up Daisies could be classified as an unpaid job.

I've never heard it before but I like it so I might make it my new ring tone.

Moose and Ian were a bit chatty last night , I woke up to 79 new posts in the other thread, the name of which we must never speak of.

Moose was at work bored, so I kept his attention to stop him falling asleep. Don't want him to get into trouble when he's so close to retirement.

I appreciate that, Ian. You're a pal.

I'm guessing Moose won't have much time for us once he retires, cause I doubt he's gonna get bored as much!

My wife will no doubt make lists of chores for me. She gets jealous of my time off already.:-|

I don't know. MY experience with retired persons is that they last about a year and they are finding a job. They all say the same thing..."I was going to do....and now I'm done and horribly bored"

I do hope my drivers migrate over to the regional transit agency. I told them to talk to them, listen to what they have to say, and then make their decisions. I hate to see people unemployed, and of course MY people are the best! :-)

My father did not want to retire, a year or so after doing so he had filled his life with so many activities he didn't know how he had the time for work in the first place!

Don't look back ..... well unless there's an attractive lady in your rear view mirror

Don't do that while driving. I ran a stop sign once doing that.
