I was in the middle of physical therapy. When it hit here, the department emptied out into the parking lot, leaving us broken people stuck inside.

I saw the Giant Pacman in the sky!!

I was at work, so I took three pairs of welding glasses and stacked them. Added together they made a #15 filter. Was good for short viewing, wouldn't want to look for too long. One guy was wearing just one pair and said it wasn't too bright at all. He's probably got a good amount of damage now. I'm quite light sensitive, so even with the #15 I maxed out at about 10 seconds at a time.

Was pretty busy at work today. Our service advisors are not very skilled at scheduling work, so we'll have very slow days and then suddenly be slammed for a few. I had three vehicles in at the same time this afternoon, and then the service manager came looking for someone to do a waiter oil change. We ran out of hoists today. We have 9 hoists and only had 4 techs in the shop today (one guy was filling in in parts). We did have some people show up without appointments, but they were good jobs that needed prompt attention, so we fit them in.

I got a fun job. The Titan XD has a Cummins diesel in it. A run of the trucks were built with faulty turbo chargers. Today the first one came in for the campaign to replace the high pressure turbo. If the turbo has not yet started to destruct, it's the only thing that gets replaced. If it has score marks on it, more stuff gets inspected and replaced. If it's puked kibbles, the engine is toast.
Biggest fun part about this job, is that the top of this truck's front fenders are at my shoulders. I have the wheels off so I can get it lowered right to the floor, but I still have to stand on a 20" platform to be able to reach anything. Spent a lot of time laying across the engine bay.
Only broken one bolt so far! (Hopefully that's all I break)

Is your Broken People group associated with the "Village People"

I had to go see it. My prime spot in Geneva Nebraska was cloudy so I headed west until the clouds cleared (About and other 2.5 hours) WOW!!! Totally worth it.
