We are currently under a snowfall warning here. Tomorrow morning might be a bit of fun.
I don't have my snow tires on the truck yet. :/ Have an appointment booked at Kal Tire for 8:30 Saturday morning.

Work has been rather stressful and confusing this week. Some of us simply do not know if we're going to be the next ones on the chopping block, or if we get to stay. The person currently running the department is the #1 hater of the former manager.

It sucks.

We haven't had any appreciable precipitation since October, about 1/4 inch. Temps are 30's to 50's, so no white Christmas for us again this year. Sorry about your job situations. It's especially unpleasant this time of the year.
Happy Thawts!

You need to move. Seems tons of places would appreciate your services elsewhere!

I thought Nip it was short for Nippon , a derogatory term for the Japanese.

My old roommate worked for Nippon Denso, a Japanese automotive parts manufacturer. He helped design the sensor system for windshield wipers that would come on when it sensed rain/snow/moisture on the windshield.

We got a decent amount of snow overnight, but it's so cold that it's fluffy. The way I like it! Wet snow sucks.
I broke the snow shovel last night, so I had to leave it all until tonight. Not many good shovels left in stores. Only the cheap things that don't hold together. Got the last good one at TSC.
Currently we are sitting at -18C/0F and it's almost completely clear out. Beauty night for stargazing!

Work was stressful, as expected. I chose not to go to Pizza Hut for lunch with Steve (the former manager) and the other guys. I did not feel comfortable with it. We've being scrutinized over our time tickets. Coming in late or taking a longer lunch is simply not being tolerated right now. I have set my alarm earlier and am trying to get to work 10-15 minutes early, and I've been bringing my uniforms home so I don't need to change when I get to work. I really don't want to get fired over a few minutes of time.
Four people went to Pizza Hut. They were a few minutes late getting back. Management found out about it and told them that was a classic C.L.M. Made them Google what that means. Career Limiting Move. Not good.
The guy who was initially hired as a temp was told that he's done next week, as per the original agreement. Yesterday he was told that they wanted him back after his (pre-booked) vacation. He's ticked.
Soooooooooo happy that I decided not to go. Gotta stay out of trouble.

Hopefully I can ride out all the craziness and maybe it will all go back to normal. Maybe something else will come up. I like working on the brand, and I like that I'm not at the bottom of the totem pole.

Who knows.

No, sorry Mel. He is married to one of the marketing execs for the Chicago Blackhawks. If that changes, I will surely let you know.

More Luna, I rented the Olympus 12-100 for a thing im going to this weekend and was giving it a trial run :)

Must say the lens is great, so sharp, especially given the range, and its not very large. Works fine on the GX8 too

I think that is for Mel to take the risk (or not).
