If everything's bigger in Texas, he'll have to beat the 27hp, 60" cut, zero turn unit that I used to mow with.

I would need a bigger garage. And a bigger lawn. :p

Nice. I'm guessing 21" push mower?

22" Husqvarna but whats an inch really.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

I cut some pretty small lawns with that thing. And it's only 62" wide....

QUOTED IMAGE

Not much different than what I use, I think I have the extra inch. Cool image with the sun rays in the dust

My yard is 33 by 165. I believe I have 60 inches between the house and the fence, but add in the air conditioner and gas meter, it dwindles quickly. Gotta love these hundred year old neighborhoods! My neighborhood was one of those "wrong side of the tracks" places up until the mid 60's I'm told.

We have 3 "city" sized lots. Each measures 1 chain wide, 2 chains deep. So our property is 3 chains by 2 chains, or 198' x 132'. Plus the road allowance that is actually grass, and the property across the road that we use and maintain, but don't own. (The co-op owns it, we're allowed to use it)
House sits in the middle-back of the middle lot
We have a Kubota riding mower with a 38" deck.
We face the railroad. The other side of the tracks is farmland.

So basically you can fit my entire neighborhood into your back yard. :-)

Life in the country. :)

I wish I could own farmland. Lots and lots of land. It's incredibly expensive around here anymore. A few years ago I went to a farmland auction. 100 acres, 70 workable, old farmhouse that had been stripped to the studs. The owner did not accept the max bid of $700,000.

it is a noticeable step up vs the members on the Fairy thread, where all are merely 'weirdos' and not even written in red ink... just weirdos...
