I believe I have 60 inches between the house and the fence, but add in the air conditioner and gas meter, it dwindles quickly. Gotta love these hundred year old neighborhoods! My neighborhood was one of those "wrong side of the tracks" places up until the mid 60's I'm told.

So our property is 3 chains by 2 chains, or 198' x 132'. Plus the road allowance that is actually grass, and the property across the road that we use and maintain, but don't own. The other side of the tracks is farmland. So basically you can fit my entire neighborhood into your back yard.
