What? Wedding? It's when two people get married.

No, the JotP part.

Ritual sounds rather medieval, no?

You know what's annoying me the most about being let go? Not getting vacation. I haven't taken an actual vacation from work since 2013. My Chicago trip was booked while I was working, but occurred after I was let go.

And I'm not getting the training courses I was waiting for.

I've been looking at a campground in Michigan that has some good biking trails, and is nearby to a lot of other places to ride. It's only 4 hours away, so not too pricey of a road trip.

Especially if you ride your bike there.

Not allowed to ride bikes across the international bridge. And going south to the ferry and back would add 80 kms to the trip.

Where is the ferry? I get the vacation part. My last real vacation was in 2015 when I took a trip back to Michigan via lighthouses on the way and Mackinaw. Before that it was years.

The ferry between Sombra, Ontario and Marine City, Michigan. It's south of the Bluewater Bridge.

My thoughts were to spend several days camping at Wilderness State Park outside of Mackinaw City. From there I could spend time riding that park, the Headlands Dark Sky park, Mackinac Island, or head up to Sault Ste Marie. Or anywhere on the U.P.

You never know when you will need a ferry. Rivers and such.

I didn't know about ferry service in Marine City. Very cool. Last trip to the UP was Iron Mountain, years ago.

Justice of the Peace.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

Are there animals involved or just crazy dancing and chanting?
