The oil filter that Walmart used on this engine is a Defense brand filter. It's the cheapest oil filter I have ever seen - costs about $3.00. It's basically a tin can with a little bit of paper inside.

Walmart typically employs untrained technicians, kids right out of high school with little to no experience.

Walmart (and other like businesses) provide a very low cost service, at the expense of quality.

I have had several co-workers that have started out at Walmart. I know the bad habits they learn there and have had to retrain them to higher standards.
I have also seen and worked on many vehicles that have been serviced at such places, and then have various problems that develop from the low quality work.

Is that a knocking sound from the engine? No it’s Walmart’s lawyer knocking on Mel’s door :-(

Since when did they start offering a dating service in court? Is it speed dating? I'm guessing not based on the slowness of other business conducted in court. But then again, maybe all their efforts are expended managing their speed dating service with little lime left over for the other things.

I don't see it that way. You're a super handy person to have around when you don't have a pry bar in your hand.
