Yep, winter has arrived with a vengeance.

12:22 am my team was called out to set up an emergency shelter for stranded motorists. Highway and many surrounding roads are shut down, snow plows pulled off the roads due to zero visibility conditions.

It’s now 4:44 am and we’re babysitting a hall full of sleeping people.

I don’t think I’ll make it to work for 8:00 am.

Here too, not like you guys are getting it though. We actually had some ice yesterday in the birdbath yesterday morning that lasted almost until 10 am. :)

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Hope the emergency services were on standby, you might need rescuing if it doesn’t improve soon :p

I did not make it into work today. I stayed at the shelter until 9 am, which is two hours past when I (normally) would have had to leave for work. I had a sketchy 5 km drive home, arrived safely to find a beautiful winter wonderland! The snow in the driveway is up to the running boards on my truck, and that's not including the drifts.

I need to go shovel, but I've only gotten about three hours sleep.

That's a shame. I would think cross dressers would have bikinis mastered early on. :p

Yeah, for sure, we're all sorry for indescriminate bikini usage by those that might be better off in kilts.

How is it even possible to discriminately sit while on public transit while wearing a kilt?
Too many 'whiles'?
